Estimate technical bitrates and total IP bandwidth for the Opus codec including network stack overhead.
Awaiting Codec Params
Opus is a versatile audio codec designed to handle both speech and general audio in a single format, while remaining low-latency enough for real-time interactive communication. It replaces both Speex and Vorbis and is the default for WebRTC.
Variable Bitrate. Adjusts bitrate dynamically based on audio complexity to improve efficiency.
Determined by the frame size. Smaller frames reduce delay but increase packet rate and IP overhead.
The two internal technologies Opus uses for high-bitrate audio and low-bitrate speech respectively.
